The innovative Snag Proof Strain Relief is specifically designed for use with EZ-RJ45® plugs, offering enhanced durability and performance. Available in two patent-pending versions for Cat5/5e and Cat6 plugs, this strain relief locks securely into place with the plug’s primary strain relief, creating a unified, integrated assembly. Once crimped, the strain relief’s design allows the plug’s primary strain relief to relax slightly, reducing cable pair compression and optimizing electrical performance for peak results. This innovative design prolongs patch cord life, maintains the required bend radii for standards compliance, and provides a professional, finished appearance. It also eliminates snags and tangles, making cable management easier and reducing messes. Additionally, it improves ease of use by making it simpler to unlock the connector when unplugging from a jack or port. The Snag Proof Strain Relief is UL and RoHS compliant, fits cables with jacket diameters up to 0.260" (6.6mm), and is proudly made in the USA.
