The upgraded SRCOOL12KE is a portable, compact, self-contained air conditioning unit designed for cooling overheated rack enclosures, IT-equipment hot spots and network closets without access to facility air conditioning. It can focus cool air through its flexible cooling duct or cool a small room through its louvered vent. It also filters and dehumidifies air to improve operating conditions and equipment reliability. An easy-to-read control panel with diagnostic LEDs provides convenient local management. This server rack cooling unit uses R32 refrigerant to pump 13,000 BTU (3.8kW) ASHRE; 9,000 BTU (2.64kW) SACC of cooling into your IT environment to help prevent shutdowns, malfunctions and other failures caused by overheating or fluctuating temperatures. R32 has a significantly lower global warming potential (GWP) compared to traditional refrigerants, which helps reduce the overall impact on climate change. Adopting R32 ensures compliance with current and upcoming regulations set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the State of California and Canada, as well as the latest standards for the Department of Energy (DoE), California Energy Commission (CEC) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) for portable air-conditioning units, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with the environmental standards.
