Product Overview

The black Shure DH5 DuraPlex is an omnidirectional miniature headset microphone equipped with a TA4F connector for compatible Shure wireless bodypack transmitters. Built for the rigors of professional use, this durable microphone delivers neutral, full-range sound, ideal for capturing speech, dialogue, and vocals in broadcast, presentation, and theater applications. The DH5 DuraPlex features a miniature 5mm capsule on a silicone boom pivot system that can be placed discreetly on either the left or right ear. The microphone offers high gain before feedback, making it well-suited for speech and dialogue at events with loud sound reinforcement. To compensate for any potential high-frequency loss when positioning the microphone, a presence cutoff is included that boosts the 10 kHz range by 3-4dB for improved clarity and intelligibility. Designed to withstand harsh conditions, the microphone is equipped with a long-lasting, fully paintable 1.6mm Shure Plex cable. The dual-redundant ground on the cable serves as a secondary shield, giving it unprecedented durability and immunity to memory effect and kinking.
