The Protech by Hirsch SDI-77-D PIRAMID Indoor Dual Technology Sensor delivers precision intrusion detection through a tightly focused Lens D vertical barrier pattern covering 100 ft. x 10 ft. (30m x 3m) — purpose-built for protecting narrow indoor corridors, hallways, doorways, and passage points where a concentrated detection curtain is essential. Combining proprietary Stereo Doppler Microwave and dual-element Passive Infrared technologies in a mandatory "AND Gate" configuration, both technologies must activate simultaneously to generate an alarm — delivering exceptional false alarm rejection while maintaining maximum detection sensitivity. Powered by 10 to 28 VDC with advanced microprocessor-controlled digital signal processing, the SDI-77-D features 10-position digital range and sensitivity controls for precise field tuning, balanced temperature compensation for consistent performance across -40°F to +158°F operating conditions, and a rugged all-metal housing for superior RFI/EMI shielding. Approved by the USAF for Protection Level 1 Nuclear & Below, this sensor is the ideal choice for high-security indoor applications including data centers, vaults, utility corridors, and restricted access passageways.
