Product Overview

The S1.8Tiw provides superior bass and extra high power handling with its dual 8" Kevlar cone woofers with coated foam surround, its 3" soft dome midrange, and its 1.125" soft dome tweeter. Incorporating exclusive patented S4X crossover and driver-control technology, the S1.8Tiw creates a virtually perfect integration of drivers, ideal for their intended frequencies. S4X also provides greatly increased control over frequency response, phase, and impedance, resulting in superior performance and imaging. Because of S4X technology, any Induction Dynamics speaker can be used to build a custom home theater system. The S1.8Tiw can be combined with any Induction Dynamics center and surround speakers, be they in-wall, on-wall, or free-standing. With a removable faceplate, the wood enclosure can be mounted directly to a wall surface.
