The On-Q PS20AC4-IL by Pass & Seymour by Legrand is a heavy-duty electrical switch designed for 20A 120/277VAC applications with both back and side wiring options. It features an external screw-pressure-plate that accepts #14 - #10 AWG copper or copper-clad conductors, ensuring robust connectivity. The switch incorporates a heavy-gauge one-piece copper alloy contact arm to virtually eliminate contact bounce and cam controls that provide fast "make" and positive "break" action to minimize arcing. Its construction includes a glass-reinforced nylon back body, high-strength thermoplastic polycarbonate toggle, oversized silver alloy contacts for enhanced heat dissipation, and heavy-duty bumper pads for quiet operation. A grounding terminal is standard, and its shallow design facilitates ease of installation, while locking support enhances resistance to face and back body separation.
