Trusted by professional installers, this device intelligently listens for the distinct audio patterns of existing UL-certified smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Upon detection, it transmits secure, encrypted wireless signals to compatible 2GIG eSeries security panels (such as GC2e and EDGE) for immediate alerts and central station reporting. Compact and ETL-listed to UL 985 standards, the FireFighter mounts easily on a wall or ceiling within 6 inches of an existing smoke or CO detector, without altering the detector's UL listing. It is powered by a long-lasting CR123A lithium battery, offering up to 5 years of operation, and features supervised, encrypted 345 MHz transmission for reliable and code-compliant installations. This makes it an ideal solution for easily integrating existing life safety detectors into a modern, monitored security system.
