The Model 1877 is used to protect telephone equipment from surges on the incoming telephone line. The surge suppressor may be sacrificed during an "extreme" power spike to protect the equipment. Protection is provided from tip to ground, ring to ground and tip to ring.
Main Features
- The clamping voltage is approximately 200V
- Use ONLY on standard Central Office (C.0.) Tip and Ring lines
