The 5P1550GR-L protects connected devices by providing 20 percent more wattage compared to traditional UPS systems.Reliable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power OutagesThe maintenance-free lithium-ion battery modules have a service life up to eight years to align with your IT refresh cycle. They allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. They also recharge in just 6 to 8 hours following power disruptions to reduce vulnerability and improve uptime. On-board battery management system (BMS) monitoring of battery performance, charge cycles and active temperature provides advanced notice when batteries need replacing.Optional Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote AccessThe NETWORK-M2 Gigabit network card (sold separately) enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M2 without dropping the load, so you don’t have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect business from these risks. An optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions.C13 Outlets Protect Your Connected ComponentsSix C13 outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Three outlets are grouped into two load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads.LCD Interface Keeps You Informed at a GlanceThe five-button graphical LCD provides useful information about the UPS itself, load status,events, measurements and settings. To save energy, the LCD switches to the screen saver after five minutes of inactivity. The backlight LCD automatically dims after 10 minutes of inactivity.Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and ShutdownsRS-232 and USB ports connect to a serial-enabled or USB-enabled device for a variety of communication options (cables are included). The RPO/ROO connector permits emergency shutdown or remote restart of all connected equipment. By adding the optional RELAY-MS interface card (sold separately), a dry-contact relay port can be programmed through the LCD to provide reliable communications to automation and industrial components. Easy Installation OptionsYou can mount the 5P1550GR-L in just 1U of space in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included 4-post rail kit or an optional 2-post rail kit (RK2PA, sold separately). You can also use the included hardware for wall mounting. The C14 inlet accepts a detachable power cord that connects to a compatible AC outlet.
